The Summit on the Credentialing Economy (#CredEconomy) convened in Washington, DC on June 7th and 8th, 2018. The Summit was co-hosted by Saylor Academy and Connecting Credentials for the purpose of discussing issues that included postsecondary education and credentialing, hiring practices and technological innovations, and disruptions in teaching, learning and hiring. Dave Wilcox, President & CEO of Global Skills X-Change (GSX), participated in a panel discussion on “Competencies and Credentials as Currency.” He was joined by John Dyer of the American Association of Community Colleges and Daniel King of Accredible.
