U.S. Acting Secretary of Labor Julie A. Su recognized Global Skills X-Change (GSX) as one of the 839 recipients of the 2024 HIRE Vets Medallion Award during a virtual award ceremony presented by the U.S. Department of Labor. GSX earned the gold award for the 4th consecutive year! The Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans Act (HIRE Vets Act) Medallion Program is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.
“Being awarded the HIRE Vets Gold Medallion for the fourth year in a row speaks volumes about our ongoing commitment to empowering veterans through meaningful careers,” said Dave Wilcox, President & CEO of Global Skills X-Change. “Veterans bring unparalleled discipline, leadership, and resilience to the workforce, and at GSX, we make it a priority to foster an environment where they can continue to excel. As a veteran myself, I know firsthand how valuable their contributions are, and we are proud to stand alongside them in their professional journey.”
GSX joins 838 other companies from 49 states, plus the District of Columbia, who have shown a commitment to hiring veterans, but also ensuring that they have a long-term career and growth plan that uses the diverse skills they acquired through their military service.
