Michael Link, Ph.D., ICE-CCP

Michael provides overall psychometric guidance to programs in the federal, education, and commercial markets. He leads the use of statistical software within client programs and the implementation of generalizable technical report components as part of assessment and certification development projects. Michael also focuses on expanding existing relationships and programs while pursuing additional opportunities among current clients.

Preceding GSX, Michael spent over 25 years in the test development industry. Many of which were spent in K-12 assessment holding roles in credentialing and account management while conceptualizing and operationalizing high-stakes, state-level custom assessment systems.

Michael holds a doctorate degree in educational psychology from Kent State University. His M.S. in instructional systems design and bachelor’s in biological sciences are both from Florida State University. He is an I.C.E.-Certified Credentialing Professional (ICE-CCP), a certification program offered by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence.

  • Michael has a passion for collection books and old postcards, ranging into the thousands of each, and do cause some storage issues.
  • Michael moved to the DC Metro Area in 2022 and continues to explore all that it has to offer.
  • While growing up in Florida, Mike’s family owned an appliance and furniture company. Hence, he excels at loading/unloading trucks (but is not available the weekend you are moving).
