Michael is a Senior Director of Assessment Systems – Psychometrician at GSX. Michael is a versatile professional with a unique Credentialing/Certification and K-12 assessment background, as well as proven success in strategic planning, solution/implementation management, and assessment program management. He has knowledge of psychometric and test development processes in Certification and K-12 assessment, as well as demonstrated leadership and success in test development and certification program management.

Michael holds a doctorate degree in educational psychology from Kent State University. His M.S. in instructional systems design and bachelor’s in biological sciences are both from Florida State University. He is an I.C.E.-Certified Credentialing Professional (ICE-CCP), a certification program offered by the Institute for Credentialing Excellence.

Michael has a passion for collecting certain old books and old postcards.
