Marisa is part of the program management team at GSX that is responsible for managing federal government and private industry workforce programs. She is currently assigned to several federal government contracts ensuring all contract requirements are met by maintaining security compliance, submitting deliverables, and meeting project scope and budget. She develops professional relationships with her clients to understand their goals and determine strategies with the technical teams to support the clients’ goals. Marisa oversees contract task progress, provides day-to-day contact clients on the status of projects, risks, and changes. She also works with internal staff to identify project resourcing needs for the contracts in which she is assigned.
Marisa holds her bachelor’s degree in multidisciplinary studies (psychology and sociology) from Stony Brook University and achieved the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) Credentialing Specialist certification.
Marisa played the trumpet from 4th grade through college. During her senior year of high school she was one of the marching band drum majors and the soloist. She and her husband Scott rescued their dog Daisy from the island of Guam where they lived for two years.
