Lygie is a higher education leader dedicated to student success initiatives and services. In her role as a Subject Matter Expert in Education at GSX, she brings her passion for compliance and context-relevant innovation to support the provision of high-quality academic opportunities for Service members, helping them achieve their goals.
Lygie has navigated various roles in the education sector throughout her career, honing her problem-solving skills and innovative solution development. She adeptly interprets and leverages data to provide insights and identify developments in the field and their potential implications for compliance.
With over a decade of experience as a college academic administrator and educator, Lygie currently serves as the Director of Learning Resources at Marymount University. In this role, she oversees learning support services for undergraduate and graduate students and collaborates across the university to enhance the student learning experience.
Lygie holds an Ed.D. in higher education leadership and policy from Peabody College at Vanderbilt University. She earned her master’s degree in educational psychology from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in political science and dance from Gustavus Adolphus College.
