TECHNICAL DIRECTOR

Caitlyn guides a team specializing in assessments, analytics, and psychometrics at GSX. She oversees tasks related to credentialing programs, assessment and survey development, data analysis, job task analyses, and psychometric principles ensuring adherence to National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) standards.

In her role, Caitlyn ensures compliance with industry standards, conducts third-party accreditation evaluations on certification programs, and provides insights to enhance psychometric rigor and validity. She also serves as a manager and technical lead for projects, including employee selection validation studies and longitudinal validation study designs for the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). Notably, Caitlyn spearheaded the development of innovative assessment tools, such as a situational judgment test for the DoD, collaborating closely with subject matter experts to ensure the relevance and reliability of over 250 assessment items.

Caitlyn joined GSX as an intern in 2017 and quickly advanced to a full-time junior analyst position in 2018. Her contributions included updating essential security standards and managing certification programs critical to national security. She directed the development of the Defense Security Essential Body of Knowledge (D-SEBOK), performed work essential to the creation of the Certified Counter-Insider Threat Professional (CCITP) assessments, and led data analysis efforts for several criterion validation studies.

Caitlyn holds a master’s in industrial and organizational psychology and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Radford University. She has also achieved certificates in Instructional Design from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) and Foundations in Design Thinking from IDEO U.
