As a seasoned leader in program management and industrial-organizational (I-O) psychology, coupled with decades of experience within the U.S. Department of Defense, Amanda brings her passion for national security and talent development to her role as GSX’s Senior Director of Defense | Intelligence | Security. Her oversight of all federal contracts allows her to align clients’ needs and goals with GSX’s capabilities resulting in the clients being able to build and manage resilient workforces in a way that also manages risk.
Amanda has spent most of her career as contracted support within the Pentagon. She worked in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense (OUSD) Comptroller as well as the OUSD Intelligence and Security. Her roles included special assistant and program analyst with specific focus on information operations, policy development, programmatic assessments, logistics, operations, training assessment and development, and research, development, test & evaluation (RDT&E).
As an active contributor to the credentialing industry, Amanda routinely serves as a reviewer of presentations and sessions for the European Association of Test Publishers (E-ATP).
Amanda holds a master’s in applied industrial-organizational psychology from Sacred Heart University. She obtained two B.S. degrees from Appalachian State University—psychology and criminal justice. She also achieved the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) Credentialing Specialist certification.
During her free time, Amanda enjoys being with her husband and children, watching or playing winter sports, working on home and yard improvement projects, and volunteering for her church, children’s schools, and local non-profits.
