Alex fills an important analytical role at GSX while specializing in industrial psychology, data, and psychometrics. In this role, he contributes to both public sector and private industry projects that involve test development, certification program development, and program maintenance, among others. Some of his core duties include conducting job analyses, creating assessments, assessing the resulting data, and assisting with the development, execution, and maintenance of certification assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and third-party accreditation standards.
Alex is a member of the Personnel Testing Council of Metropolitan Washington (PTCMW), and the Society of Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
Preceding GSX, Alex spent several years in analytical and research roles for the federal government where he performed assessments, surveys, data collection and analysis, and report writing. He also focused significantly on a cutting-edge, “Multidimensional Forced Choice” personality assessment that used its format and Item Response Theory (IRT) to mitigate socially desirable responding and improve validity.
Alex holds his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from George Mason University, and achieved the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (I.C.E.) Credentialing Specialist certification.
